Where: Somewhere in the Alpilles, a small chain of mountains in the south of France, near Avignon and Salon de Provence.

When: Beginning of March 2009.

What: Early in the morning and after several days grazing in the mountain, a sheep herd goes back to its sheepfold in the valley.

      You have to wake up at 5am on a chilly day of March to get such a light. But the walk with the herd really worths it.
